The La María mining project is located between the municipalities of Vegachí and Remedios in the Department of Antioquia, Colombia. The mining title area is located within the large Magdalena River watershed. In addition, the San Bartolomé River basin has several micro-basins and among them is the La Honda 3 watershed, to which the mining title area belongs.
La María is an ongoing project that has spent 40 years producing gold in a continuous and artisanal manner. It has a fully equipped and operating washing plant.
